AbayHost Terms of Service

Welcome to Abay Host. By using our hosting services, including website hosting, domains, and related services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (TOS). Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Abay Host provides web hosting services, including:

  • Shared hosting packages (Standard, Professional, Premium, Premium Plus)

  • cPanel™ control panel access

  • NVMe storage, bandwidth, email accounts, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases

  • Free .COM domains (with eligible plans)

  • LiteSpeed Web Server and SSL certificates

  • Daily backups and 24/7 technical support


 

2. Account Registration

  • Clients must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • Abay Host reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or fraudulent information.

  • Clients are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials.


 

3. Payment Terms

  • Services are billed annually (or recurring terms if specified).

  • Payment must be received before account provisioning, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Abay Host accepts payments via [Bank Transfer].

  • Late or non-payment may result in account suspension until payment is received.


 

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are offered only when explicitly stated on a package or promotion.

  • Domain registration fees are non-refundable once registered.

  • Any refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of account creation.


 

5. Acceptable Use

Clients may not use Abay Host services for:

  • Hosting illegal content (pirated software, malware, hate speech, etc.)

  • Spamming or sending unsolicited emails

  • Distributing viruses, malware, or any harmful software

  • Attempting to breach or harm Abay Host servers or other clients’ accounts

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.


 

6. Account Suspension and Termination

Abay Host may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Non-payment

  • Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy

  • Security threats, malware distribution, or abuse

  • Any other reason deemed necessary to protect our services

Clients will be notified via email where possible.


 

7. Backups

  • Abay Host provides daily backups (2x, 4x, or 6x depending on plan).

  • Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backup copies.

  • Abay Host is not liable for data loss beyond standard backups.


 

8. Support

  • Technical support is available 24/7 via support@abayhost.com or Ticket System.

  • Abay Host strives to respond promptly but does not guarantee immediate resolution.


 

9. Liability

  • Abay Host is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Services are provided “as-is” without warranties of uptime or performance, except where explicitly stated.


 

10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Client information is used only for service provisioning, billing, and support.

  • Abay Host does not share client data with third parties unless required by law.

  • Clients are responsible for securing their own data, passwords, and applications.


 

11. Changes to Terms

  • Abay Host may modify these Terms of Service at any time.

  • Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website announcement.


 

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ethiopia.
